I have worked on a number of high-profile films during my 18 year career and have been given the responsibility to deliver hero creatures on many of these shows.

My contribution and experience in creature work was rewarded in 2021 when I won a VES for Outstanding Animated Character in a Photoreal Feature; The One and Only Ivan. I was tasked with sculpting a photo-real gorilla from scratch for this movie. Further into production I was promoted to Asset Supervisor to help lead the other disciplines for this character and the many other animals on the show! I have filled a range of roles in VFX, from Supervisor to Lead Artist and Environment TD, this has allowed me to gain first hand experience of the full pipeline. 

Prior to working in films I worked in games development building real-time characters. I handled asset optimization, profiled relevant metrics for tracking, developed the character art pipeline, helped drive tool development, and was technical support for any engine and bug troubleshooting.
